The Summer School on Economic Complexity (SSEC) is a full day course on the basics of economic complexity taught by professor Cesar A. Hidalgo. The course is designed for aspiring economists, researchers, and curious minds eager to grasp the complexity of our economy. Through a series of lectures and interactive discussions participants will gain a basic understanding of this growing field.
Attending the summer school is free of charge, but a registration in advance is required!

The technical part of the summer school will focus on mathematical models of economic complexity

Please note that lunch is not provided during the summer school, but there are various options on Campus (Fresh Corner) and on Bartók Béla út, the road just a few minute walk from the venue.

Part two of the morning session

Coffee, tea and some refreshment will be served in the garden.

The conceptual part focuses on historical examples of innovation policy and their alignment with the principles of collective learning.
